The minimum information required to monitor the state of charge of a battery is the terminal voltage and the charge/discharge current **. The BM2 measures both these parameters and computes the state of charge using a complex, well proven, algorithm. Going under the fake alias of Augeus Atticus, Citadel is the human shield of the Bulwark Division. Whenever Phantom cannot afford to have an area be compromised, Citadel is deployed to make the territory behind him unconquerable.

Each of the handicapped staterooms features: larger size (compared to the non-accessible counterpart), wider doors (width 35 inches / 0,9 m, sitting-level keycard slot), wider turning spaces (5 ft / 1,5 m), ramped thresholds, beds with open bed frames, lowered vanity in the sitting area, amplified phones, captioned TVs, wider bathrooms (door width 35 inches / 0,9 m, roll-in shower, fold-down shower bench, grab rails, lower sinks and closet rods, raised toilets, hand-held shower head, seat height from the floor 0,4 m).

Citadel has grown exceptional in his line of work. He has only suffered defeat once, at the hands of none other than the Revenant -- and even then, he made sure the warrior had a hard time. The unit continually monitors the voltage, the current (charge or discharge) and calculates the state of charge together with the time remaining to charge or discharge the battery.

While there’s a smidgen more room in the rear than in the last M2, however, this is still not a vehicle that four adults will really use comfortably. The boot capacity is 390 litres – so VW Golf-sized, albeit with a saloon-esque loading aperture – and you can fold down the rear seats in a 40/20/40 split if you want to load longer (but hardly taller) items. We’re driving the manual today, and as we peel off the interstate and the traffic thins out, it becomes clear that while the gearbox is primed to deliver what purists would term involvement – the art of heeling and toeing, the ultimate control of when another gear is to be selected – the unit itself is actually a teeny bit clunky. It’s not badly engineered by any means, but BMW’s boffins were clearly given the brief of producing a transmission that can cope with a significant amount of power and torque – and the robust mechanicals required for this mean a longer throw than we’d like and a heavier, slightly notchy shift to match.
