The CompuCleaner delivers consistent high pressure for as long as you hold down the power button. However, the motor will heat up if you run the air duster continuously for too long, so it’s best to operate the device in short bursts (in the same way that you would a compressed air can). That being said, I used the CompuCleaner to clean my computer over the course of 30 minutes and held down the power button for up to 10 seconds at a time; I found that the air remained relatively cool and the motor continued to deliver instant high-pressure blasts. Not sure what to look for when it comes to the best electric air duster? Take a look at this buyer’s guide. Power The CompuCleaner Original 2 only has one speed setting. There is a more expensive ‘Xpert’ model available, which has two speed settings as well as a 550W motor and a few extra attachments. But, I found that the base model had more than enough power and I ended up only using one outlet attachment to clean my computer. Also, if you need to regulate the force of air that you apply, you can simply move the device closer or further away. Even if you keep your computer off of the floor, well away from carpets and floor-bound fluff, you’ll likely find that the computer fans are caked in dust. This reduces the ability of the fans to keep your computer cool and manage the temperature of the components. So, to maintain a healthy system, it’s a good idea to give it a dusting every three to six months.

I then pointed it at my toaster and BLASTED around the edges where sesame seeds accumulate when I'm toasting sesame seed bagels. BOOM BAM POW, no more unsightly seeds breeding around my toaster. True, all I did was spread the seeds elsewhere, but where they went I don't know and I don't care. I had FUN blasting those zombie seeds, that's all I care about. The wife can follow up with the mini vac. The flagship 500 Watt internal power unit has been further optimised to deliver enhanced power at lower working temperatures. This combined with innovative changes to the internal air channels, creates a powerful stream of fresh and filtered air which can remove even the most stubborn dust. I never give a five star rating...but this was invented twenty years after it should have been and actually works, safely.
Not sure how many times the filters can be washed/cleaned, & how easy it will be to get replacements. Storm Shelter Required: This thing is powerful, I ended up blowing things all over the place on accident THROUGH my 2 foot high 2 foot long PC. The air intake on the bottom of the device has a soft spongey filter to prevent dust getting in and harming the motor. While it comes with a spare and you can replace the filter. It can clog up pretty fast and this can force you to stop to clear it. Like I said its a small thing but I though it was worth mentioning.Use in combination with the 3 piece ESD brush set for thorough cleaning of even the most delicate parts
