i get slagged off every time a ftx thread gets started for “offering” my opinions so won’t be long before the torches are lit and the pitch forks waved.

Underneath the retro body is a collection of purposeful parts. The 550 electric motor is efficient and powerful; the suspension, driveshafts, steering servo, chassis, and axles are all heavy duty and metal. In CAR’s group test it took a pummelling and kept going with no issues. Please Note: This kit is sold in RTR (Ready-to-run) format but requires 3 x AA batteries for completion. Declaration of ConformityOn any open piece of ground, you are left wanting more speed. That would be a desire soon fulfilled by upgrading the motors but the twin motor design makes it very difficult to modify the Ravine. Thus, you have to be content with medium speed. The FTX Ravine can only be sold in the UK. the kanyon is utter pap, the way the body mounts and bumpers mount speaks volumes for me, as you say a crawler (not a great one either) with a “scale” (in the loosest possible way) shell and it still looks plain wrong.
