No other supplier at this time can provide a system that will ensure continuation of service beyond 31.3.2019 due to the unique functionality that will need to be developed and validated. The Intrepid is service critical workforce management IT solution used by Health Education Improvement Wales (HEIW) to manage the education, progression and training of the trainee workforce. Without this IT solution there will be disruption to the training of Junior doctors across Wales NHS resulting in an unacceptable service impact.
