About this deal

Moskovskaya is wonderful. Even at room temperature, it’s flavorless and smooth. In fact, it seems better at room temperature than chilled. As I said, it’s flavorless the entire time it’s in the mouth. There is a slightly odd flavor on the swallow (an almost citrus or lime flavor), but it goes down smooth without need of a chaser. This is great vodka at an amazing price. This competes with Crystal Head at about 1/4 the price. The Mixed Drink

Consumers, now more than ever, are looking for original and authentic brands. Our rich history, combined with our work over the last few years rejuvenating the Moskovskaya Vodka brand – one of the oldest vodka brands in existence – is delivering results across the board,” said Walter Kooijman, ABG’s managing director of EMEIA and global travel retail. It can also be found in most liquor stores, and it is also available online. Moskovskaya Vodka is a good vodka, and it is worth trying. Why is Moskovskaya Vodka Good?

Of all of the recently reviewed vodkas that have reignited my vodka quest, this one seems the most intriguing. There are a fair number of great vodkas out there, but very few that are also inexpensive. Hopefully, this vodka is on the shelf of one of the nearby liquor stores.Vodka ( Polish: wódka [ˈvutka]; Russian: водка [ˈvotkə]; Swedish: vodka [vɔdkɑː]) is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage. Different varieties originated in Poland, Russia, and Sweden. [1] [2] Vodka is composed mainly of water and ethanol but sometimes with traces of impurities and flavourings. [3] Traditionally, it is made by distilling liquid from fermented cereal grains, and potatoes since introduced in Europe in the 1700s. Some modern brands use corn, sugar cane, fruits, honey, and maple sap as the base.

Moskovskaya has bold ambitions beyond its green goals, too. This year, the brand will focus on building five key markets aside of the Baltic markets: Spain, Italy, Portugal, the UK and Canada. Moskovskaya Vodka is made from wheat and rye grain, and it is distilled four times. The water used in Moskovskaya Vodka comes from artesian wells in Moscow. a b "EU Farm Chief Warns of Legal Action in Vodka Row". Archived from the original on 10 March 2007 . Retrieved 10 March 2007.Until the mid-18th century, the drink remained relatively low in alcohol content, not exceeding 40% ABV. Multiple terms for the drink were recorded, sometimes reflecting different levels of quality, alcohol concentration, filtering, and the number of distillations; most commonly, it was referred to as "burning wine", "bread wine", or even in some locations simply "wine". In some locations, grape wine may have been so expensive that it was a drink only for aristocrats. Burning wine was usually diluted with water to 24% ABV or less before drinking. It was mostly sold in taverns and was quite expensive. At the same time, the word vodka was already in use, but it described herbal tinctures (similar to Nalewka), containing up to 75% ABV, and made for medicinal purposes.
