About this deal
David Goggins is a badass! A word I personally feel is too frequently and too casual offered as a descriptor but incredibly fitting here, talking about him.
Using pity for solace is not a good tactic. People who take comfort in other people pitying them are relying on external sources for comfort and reassurance. It's ultimately weakness. Which is why there has got to be somebody in every family, neighbourhood, culture, nation, and generation who breaks the mold and changes the way others think about society and their place in it. There has got to be someone willing to be an outlier. A self-help book about how to be the biggest badass in the world. Written by someone who is obsessed with being the biggest badass in the world. He's a Navy Seal, ultrarunner, etc.

The rewards I seek are internal, and if you have that mindset, you will find opportunities for growth everywhere” (Pg. 171)
When you are always in the grind, you think there will come a time when the tough road, blitzed with potholes and littered with blown tires, will smooth out, but that is never the case.

Recommend For: Instead of this book, I would recommend ‘Can’t Hurt Me’ which is the first book written by the same author. ‘CHM’ explores how each of us have untapped potential which we haven’t explored; while I found Never Finished more aggressive and negative as a whole.
