There is a lot more of this on your jetbikes. Here only the gauntlets are leather. I used VMC Cavalry brown, making sure to avoid the red cloth on the underside of his forearms and the gold detailing. I then washed the leather with Agrax Earthshade. Greedy Gold Colour Primer’s slightly different can shape seems to indicate a different producer than the other Colour Primers. The paint applies beautifully, no special treatment needed, just apply short bursts from a distance of about 20 cm, like with any other miniature spray paint your familiar with. The coverage is great, and two thin coats are enough to cover over bare plastic. Durability is also good, as this scratch test shows. Compared to terrain, which, broadly, is flat and regular, miniatures are much fussier to spray paint. They’re covered in little nooks and crannies.Do a pin wash with a dark brown oil paint (Van dyke brown or burnt umber) heavily thinned with odourless white spirit thinner in the recesses. Use a synthetic round No1 brush. Let it dry for an hour and clean up any dried pools of oil wash with the brush damp with pure white spirit. You can either mix the paint and thinner together outside of the airbrush reservoir, or within the airbrush (not recommended). In either case, make sure you’ve got the solution mixed well.

Greedy Gold Warpaint is a solid golden acrylic paint, it’s a nuance more orange than Retributor Armour, and a pretty close match to Gehenna Gold Layer paint, but with slightly better opacity. The metallic flakes aren’t as fine as Retributor Armour Base paint, nor is the coverage as good, but in fact, Greedy Gold Colour Primer is a closer match to Retributor Armour base paint than Retributor Armour spray paint and Gauntlet Gold, as you can see here.
