Teyon blends bloody linear shootouts with light open world action for an entertaining, if unadventurous, RoboCop experience. RoboCop: Rogue City review It’s so far, so faithful for Teyon’s adaptation then. However, where Rogue City can stumble slightly is in its presentation and mission design. Because as excellently rendered locations like downtown, the Detroit Police Department station and even a simple quarry can look, pulling me out of the experience was the extremely poor facial expressions and lip-synching of NPCs. It may not be one of the best Xbox games, but I can say without a doubt it is the best RoboCop game ever made. If you’re a RoboCop fan who grew up watching the movies during the 1980s and 1990s, this is a nostalgic thrill ride you should not miss.

This game faithfully brings to life the 1980s-styled, retro-future aesthetic of the RoboCop movies. Thematically, the story covers much the same ground as the original film, targeting corporate ownership of public institutions, the sweeping aside of the poor for gentrified districts, the shunting aside of human workers in favour of automated machines, and how greed and destitution leads to increases in crime and violence. All of this is fine, but it also repeats a lot of the plot points from the first two films, like OCP seeking to replace RoboCop with a new model, andWith your robotic strength and cybernetic enhancements, which you can upgrade as you progress, you’ll be the ultimate enforcer of justice. The Alex Murphy Edition is available two days earlier on Tuesday, October 31 and includes some extra cosmetic items.
